MARIA'S CHICKEN
MARIA’S CHICKEN
INGREDIENTS:
- some butter
- 200 gr of bacon
- some mustard
- 1/2 kg of chicken breasts/- 200 ml of cream
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Warm the oven for 15 minutes at 240º.
2. Grease the tray with butter.
3. Put a layer of bacon on the tray.
4. Put some mustard on the bacon.
5. Put the chicken on the bacon.
6. Put the cream on the chicken.
7. Put the rest of the bacon on the chicken.
8. Now put some mustard on the bacon.
9. Finally put the tray in the oven for 30 minutes at 180º.

MAJORCAN PA AMB OLI
MAJORCAN ‘PA AMB OLI’
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 slices of brown bread
- 1 tomato “Ramallet”
- 1 spoonful of virgin olive oil
- salt
- 2 slices of Iberian Ham
- 2 slices of Minorcan cheese
- a few Majorcan olives
- 1 spicy pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut the tomato in half.
2. Scrub the tomato on the two slices of bread.
3. Put some olive oil on the two slices.
4. Put the ham on one of the slices.
5. Put the cheese on the other slice.
6. Now put the olives and one spicy pepper next to the bread.
7. Finaly eat the “pa amb oli” and enjoy it.

INGREDIENTS:
- 400 g of flour
- ¾ of glass of beer
- ¼ of glass of oil
- some ham
- some cheese
- an onion
- 300 ml of tomato sauce
- some oregano (to taste)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Mix the flour with the beer and oil. Knead until it doesn’t stick.
2. Roll the dough on a mould.
3. Spread the tomato sauce.
4. Put the ham.
5. Put the fried onion.
6. Put the cheese.
7. Put the oregano.
8. Introduce it in the oven at 220 degrees for 15 min (heating the oven before).

MARIA BISCUIT CAKE WITH CONDENSED MILK AND WHIPPED CREAM
INGREDIENTS:
- a pot of condensed milk
- some cream
- some muscatel
- a packet Maria biscuits
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. First, smash the biscuits.
2. Add a small amount of muscatel to the biscuit.
3. Boil the condensed milk for one hour.
4. Whip the cream.
5. Put on a dish: first, the biscuits; second, the condensed milk; finally, the cream.
6. Repeat this action many times.
7. Leave it in the fridge for 3 hours.

MARIA BISCUIT CAKE
INGREDIENTS:
- 60 grams of grated coconut
- 60 grams of butter
- a jar of Nutella/Nocilla
- a packet Maria biscuits (200 grams)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Melt the butter and the Nutella.
2. In a recipient, put the butter, Nutella and the grated coconut (30 grams).
3. Soak the Marie biscuits (one by one) with lukewarm milk and put one spoonful of mixture on each biscuit.
4. Spread all the arm of Marie biscuits with Nutella and put the grated coconut on top.
5. Leave it in the fridge for a couple of hours and it will be ready to serve.

CHEESE PUDDING
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 pots of cream cheese
- 200 ml of cream
- 200 ml of milk
- 200 grams of sugar
- 2 spoonfuls of corn flour
- 2 eggs
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. First, mix all the ingredients in a bowl suitable for oven.
2. Then, put it in the oven, for one hour at 170 degrees.
3. Finally, let it cool.

INGREDIENTS:
- Biscuits.
- Butter.
- Cream cheese.
- 3 eggs.
- Condensed milk.
- Jam.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Mix the biscuits and butter.
2. Put the mixing on the mould.
3. Mix the cream cheese, the eggs and the condensed milk.
4. Put it on the mould.
5. Put it in the oven for 30 minutes.
6. When the cheese cake is cold put some jam on top.
7. Finally, eat the cake.

SPRING CAKE
INGREDIENTS
▫ 2 sheets of puff pastry
▫ 1 egg
▫ Pineapple
▫ Strawberries
▫ Kiwi
▫ Grapes
▫ Banana
▫ Neutral jelly
▫ Pastry cream:
- one litre of milk
- a lemon zest
- one cinnamon stick
- six yolks
- three tablespoons of cornstarch (maizena)
- six tablespoons of sugar
METHOD
1. Heat the milk (reserving a bit in the bowl of the mixer) with sugar, a lemon zest and a cinnamon stick.
2. Let it boil over low heat for 15 minutes.
3. Add the reserved milk, egg yolks and cornstarch and beat everything in the blender.
4. After 15 minutes remove the lemon zest and the cinnamon stick.
5. Raise the heat and add the egg mixture, stirring constantly until it thickens and then remove it from the heat.
6. In a baking tray place a sheet of puff pastry and prick it with a fork.
7. Bake it in the oven until you see that is done (cooking time depends on the oven).
8. Place a generous layer of pastry cream, and cover it with sliced fruit.
9. Make the jelly and paint all the pieces of fruit with a brush.
TIPS
If you don’t want to use pastry cream, you can use powder cream caramel.

5. Bake it in the oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.

▫ 1-2 courgettes
▫ olive oil
▫ salt
▫ a clove of garlic
METHOD
1. Cut the vegetables into fine pieces.
2. Put one spoonful of olive oil into the frying pan.
3. Put a clove of garlic into the frying pan and then stir up until the garlic is brown.
4. Then remove the garlic and pour the others vegetables and cover them. Occasionally, stir them up.
5. Mix the eggs in a bowl and put a pinch of salt.
6. Remove the vegetables from the heat and mix them with the eggs in a bowl.
7. Put them all together into a frying pan and cook over a low heat.
8. After a few minutes turn the omelette.
9. Finally, serve it on a dish.
TIPS
If you don’t like these vegetables, you can use others or maybe try with cheese, ham or fish.
It’s important to put some olive oil in the frying pan so that the omelette doesn’t stick to the pan.
If you aren’t an expert, don’t try to turn the omelette in the air.

▫ 125 gr of raw laminated almonds
METHOD
1. Extend the puff pastry and cut it with a knife forming triangles.
2. Put the sugar, the water and the butter in a casserole and warm up slowly until everything is melted.
3. Add the almonds and spread the liquid mixture on the pastry.
4. Bake them in the oven at 180º until they are well toasted.

CRESPELLS
INGREDIENTS
▫ 1 kg of flour
▫ 1 egg and 3 yolks
▫ 300 g of lard
▫ 300 g of sugar
▫ 1 cup of orange juice
▫ 1 cup of vegetable oil
▫ 1 cup of water
▫ 1 lemon
▫ a pinch of cinnamon
▫ icing sugar
METHOD
1. Squeeze some oranges to make one cup of juice.
2. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
3. Grate a lemon and add it to the mixture.
4. knead the pastry and make a ball.
5. Sprinkle some flour on a surface, roll out the pastry with a rolling spin and then use a special tin to make the different shapes.
6. Put them on an oven tray with some olive oil and bake them for 20-30 minutes at 180 degrees.
7. Once cooled, sprinkle them with some icing sugar.
TIPS
If you don’t like lard, you can replace it with butter.
It’s a good idea to melt the butter in the microwave.
It’s advisable to put some vegetable paper on the tray.
